Lingen Davies Cancer Fund is committed to supporting high quality cancer services for the people of Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales. Started in 1979 by Bernard Lingen, then Mayor of Shrewsbury, and local accountant Frank Davies, the charity’s first appeal raised £1.25million to provide a radiotherapy department at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital
I am pleased to be able to confirm that we have made two donations, each for £800, to the Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal and Hywel Dda Health Charities to support the Bronglais Hospital Chemo Appeal. Our wonderful members, despite COVID, organised three Tractor Runs and a Ploughing Match.
These are wonderful charities to support, who doesn’t know someone impacted by this dreadful disease?
