Visitor Information

Car

If you’re attending by car, please use postcode SY17 5SF in your SAT NAV. The showground is located on the A489 between Newtown and Caersws. The event will be clearly signposted on the day.

Train

The showground is approximately 1.7 miles away from Caersws Train Station, due to the event being on a bank holiday services maybe be reduced, check out Transport for Wales (TfW) website for times and prices: https://tfw.wales/places/stations/caersws

Taxi

We have a designated area for taxis to drop off and pick up visitors at the Rally.

Bus / Coach

Regrettably, the two primary bus routes that run past the showground are not operational on Bank Holidays. If you plan to arrive via a private bus or coach, we kindly request that you inform us in advance through our enquiry page. This way, we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your transportation needs effectively.

Vehicles on Site

To ensure the safety of both our guests and staff during the rally, we have strict speed limits enforced accross the showground. Please find out more here.

Opening Times

Gates open from 09:00, no sooner to visitors and the rally officially closes at 17:00.

Car Parking

We have plenty of FREE on site parking available and accessible parking is available on request.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times. Please ensure you have provisions to clean up after your dog in a responsible way.

Facilities

We have toilets with hand sanitiser and larger toilets with extra equipment for visitors with accessibility requirements. Medical services are available during the rally and operated by third party trained medical staff.

Payments

Cash and Card payments are accepted for gate entry and the vintage tearoom. While some of our other vendors on-site may offer card payment options, we recommend having cash readily available to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day.

Ground Condtions

While we make every effort to maintain accessibility on our site, it’s important to note that our showground is located on a working farm and field. As a result, certain areas may have uneven terrain, which could pose challenges for wheelchairs, pushchairs, mobility scooters, and similar equipment.

Showground Rules

Visitors are required to follow our showground rules at all times, failure to adhere to these rules will result in the individual being request to leave the site. These rules are in place to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable day.
