The Mid Wales Vintage Machinery Club 2026 Crank Up took place at Plasauduon Farm on Sunday 13th October. A good crowd came along to enjoy seeing the wide range of Vintage working farm equipment on display and compete in the various competitions including 9 pin Skittles, Quoits and Horse Shoes on the peg. The little ones went around and around on Guy’s 1940’s round-about whilst everyone had a great catch up. An excellent lunch provided by Sharron, Rob and Liz made for a really good day.
As well as all of the vintage iron chugging away we had a fantastic display of historic postcards and illustrations featuring Montgomeryshire collected by Chris Davies over many years
After a very tense play-off between the three finalists, Guy scored a perfect 9 to win the skittles. It was a similar situation in the Quoits competition with Gary just edging home to take the winners prize.
