This is a brilliant opportunity to experience ShrewsburyPrison in a very different way, as we have arranged a private, late-night,out-of-hours guided tour. The prison, also known as The Dana, datesback to 1793 and is one of Britain’s most complete surviving Victorian prisons. The tour gives visitors the chance to explore real prison wings, cells, segregation areas and the execution room, while learning about the history ofthe prison and what life was like for prisoners and officers.
