At the Annual General Meeting held at Caersws Village Club on Wednesday 13th February 2019 members agreed to support Wales Air Ambulance, The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Gobowen and Cruse Bereavement Care, Newtown.

Mid-Wales Vintage Machinery Club Ltd is a not for profit organisation and we raise our money through support of our members as well as the general public. We are very grateful for the support we receive which allows us to share what we raise with local charities and good causes.

Our major fund raising event is our annual rally which will be held on Monday 27th May. Please come along if you can.

£4200 Donated by Club

At the Social evening on Wednesday 12th December the Club presented two cheques. One for £3000 to the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and the other for £1200 to Caersws Village Club.  Lingen Davies is well know in the area for supporting those with Cancer and Caersws Village Club, which is staffed by volunteers, provides a venue for many local groups and Clubs. Members were very happy that money raised during the year from various activities was being put back into the local community.

Thank you

Thanks go to everyone involved in our Rally. Exhibitors, carbooters, suppliers, the public and of course the army of volunteers that staffed the Vintage Tea Tent, the auction and those that were emptying the bins at the end of the day.  We would also like to thank Mrs Davies and family for allowing us on their land to do what we do.  We are still counting the money but we have more than covered our costs and the beneficiary is the Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal.  Looking forward to 2019.

Caersws is not Shrewsbury or Cardiff.  Very proud that we can organise an event of this size in our locality.  Mid -Wales Vintage Machinery Club, local people supporting local people!
