Once again the sun shone and there was plenty to see and do, from Vintage cars, engines and tractors to the Kickin’ Alice Appalachian Dancers and a very busy car boot sale. The bouncy castle and face painting for the children went down well as did tea and cake in the tent. The Club’s own mini group called The Spanners also sang a few songs to everyone’s enjoyment.
I am sure this will go down as a very successful rally and in addition to a lot of fun for members, exhibitors and visitors we have managed to raise a significant amount for our two nominated charities, League of Friends of Llanidloes Hospital and West Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group. We are still counting and cheques will be presented at the end of the year once all the Club’s activities are completed.
The Club would like to thank everyone involved in whatever way. Without these dedicated helpers, those that are prepared to exhibit and the visitors we couldn’t do it. We would also like to thank Mrs Rachel Davies and Family for once again allowing us to use their property to hold this event.
You will see a few pictures below that capture the day. See you next year, diary the date Monday 29th May 2017.
